Access to university is quick and easy with campuses in nearby Orange, Bathhurst and Parkes’ Country University Campus. All schools within the Shire are serviced daily by local bus lines, there is also a town bus offering safe transfers from the town centre throughout Forbes. In town there are also taxi and assisted transports. There is also 20+ kilometres of footpaths to get around Forbes on foot.
