As Winter settled over Forbes, the town embraced the season with cozy charm and community events. Heritage Week featured a sold-out historical bus tour that explored local history, including stops at the Road Kill Sculpture, Lachlan Vintage Village, and Pioneer Cemetery. The countdown to Frost & Fire 2024 began, with Vera Blue headlining. Other artists and entertainment included Raechel Whitchurch, fireworks, and fire dancers. Tickets went on sale. ChillFest kicked off the Winter Solstice celebrations on June 21st with ice-skating, food stalls, and a family movie night.
